Built as NX616 by Austin Motors in 1945. No squadron history. Converted at Woodford in 1952 for French Aeronavale as WU-22 and seen here at Ringway - 'trial-fitted' with airborne lifeboat. The Lancaster was finally delivered to the French in September 1952..
