Photographed taxiing out for departure at Manchester, this A330 now wears Air Transat's latest version of it's 'Welcome' colour scheme. She made her first flight on the 12th November 2008 wearing the test registration F-WWYU, before delivery to Mexicana on the 18th December that year registered as XA-MXQ. After Mexicana ceased operations in August 2010 she was acquired by Air Transat and was delivered to the Montreal based airline on the 30th September. Canada 'recycles' civil aircraft registrations and this identity was previously worn by a Lockheed Tristar, coincidentally also operated by Air Transat which I photographed at Exeter back in 1992.
