After withdrawal from the RAF, Monarch Airlines purchased the aircraft and stored it at Coventry. She was later ferried to Luton after the purchase by Aer Turas fell through. Painted in the markings of Eurafric but never used by them. It was leased to Aer Turas and later used by Redcoat Air Cargo and in 1982 Sold to Katele Aero Transport and registered as 9Q-CHU in April 1982, finally being broken up in Zaire in 1986.
