Celebrating 75 years of the 2ð Stormo and 20,000 flying hours for the 14ð Gruppo. The knight on the fin is drawn from the emblem of the 8ð Gruppo, formerly a part of the 2ð Stormo, and is derived from the poem 'Breus', by Giovanni Pascoli, which tells of a wandering knight. This reflects the history of the 8ð Gruppo since its constitution.
