Designed in France, the Ganagobie f/f in 1953. Only a few Ganagobie were built, the difficulty being in finding a small enough and reliable engine for this ULH class aircraft way ahead of todays offerings. In 1955 this Ganagobie was re-designed in Canada by George Jacquemin and completed by Pierre Descamps. Maple Airfield was closed in the 1990s.
