G-ARVB first flew as second production aircraft (third off the line) on 21st December 1962. Picture shows first Tropical Trials of the VC10 type at Torrejon Nato Air Base near Madrid. Shows aircraft taxi in after a runway trial of abandoned take-off, as part of the C of A certification programme.
