SE-BIN leading SE-BIR. SE-BIN is built as part of a batch ordered as P.R.XI from Vickers-Armstrong (Supermarine) on Feb. 12th., 1944 and believed to be the 2nd Mk.XVII delivered to the RAF in May, 1945. In 1947 sold to Indian Air Force and serving as HS687. Recovered from India 1977-78 and spend some time in USA before returning to the UK in 1992. Restoration to airworthiness through 1996 - 99 at Historical Flying and had first flight 7th July 2000. On May the 7th 2009 G-BUOS SM845 left Historical Flying Ltd.'s hangar at Duxford to join its new owner in Sweden. It belonged to the Biltema Collection and it was based at Angelholm, Sweden. Fatal crash August 21st. 2010 during landing at Tynset airport, Norway.
