This aircraft was purchased by Hughes Tool Co. from Riddle before delivery and remained at the Douglas factory in Santa Monica from 1957 until finally sold and flown out in 1973. Sold to Northern Air Cargo. Flown as a freighter then converted to a fueler. NAC got out of the DC6s and sold the aircraft to Everts Air Fuel where it operates today (2020) in Fairbanks Alaska.
