The tenth Canadian-built Chipmunk on a test flight from Hatfield. It had been marked "WB551" for a publicity photo. The first UK-built RAF example WB549 flew two weeks later. Image given to me by DH 60 years ago. [ABPIC note: re-registered G-ARFW 1/3/60, DBR near Cherbourg and registration cancelled by CAA as PWFU 20/6/66.]
