Converted for MR role, then for Map Surveying and retired in 1964 whence it was purchased by the City of Edmundston and flown to St. Jacques Apt, Edmundston, N.B. in 1964 and mounted as shown. The aircraft was moved to CFB Trenton museum on 4 and 5 Oct 2017 to be refurbished as a ¨real¨ Lancaster. It took one month to dismantle it. 3 of the 4 Roll-Royce Merlin engines were in running condition even without having received maintenance in 53 years.
