Dramatic cross-wind landing that could have resulted in a ground-loop. D-FWME was built as a Hispano (CASA) license built Bf-109, the Hispano HA-1112 M-1L Buchón in 1950 with c/n 139. After being struck off charge in late 60s it was recovered for the movie "The Battle of Britainâ and registrated G-AWHH. It was sold to USA as N3109G, where it crashed in 1986 and was later repaired for static display. In the 90s it was imported to Germany for a restoration to Bf-109G-4 specifications with a DB605 engine replacing the original Merlin. In 1998 the project was moved to the Messerschmitt Air Company, who spent more than 30.000 hours before Rot 7 on October 8th 2004 was presented to the public.
