The sole XC-120 converted from C-119B 48-330 c/n 10312. Lower fuselage cut away and additional forward undercarriage added to permit loading of the pack. C-82 type fin and rudder reinstated. Extensively tested but not put into production. From Fairchild 60 years ago.
