This former US Coast Guard HH-3F Pelican is pictured here whilst stored with the Kenosha Military Museum, which has moved just across the state line to Russell, IL and renamed the Russell Military Museum UPDATE: Upon emailing the Russell Military Museum to inquire as to the current status of 1480, I received the following in reply: "Unfortunately we no longer have #1480. At one point we had 3 HH-3s, two Coast Guard and one Air Force model. The museum was forced to move (eminent domain) and we had to downsize. We sold two of the HH-3's to make room for other displays. 1480 was sold to a movie studio were it was restored to a static display/movie condition and was being used for cockpit and interior shots. It is my understanding they sold it to a private contractor/armorer who still uses it for TV/movie shoots. It's exact location, whereabouts and condition are unknown to me. Hopefully you will be able to trace it down, sorry I could not be more help. Good luck!"
