Scanned from a negative. At the end of the day, returning aircraft are positioned over an underwater ramp, which is raised to bring the aircraft out of the water. It is then further hoisted by a fork-lift truck onto dry land, as seen here, and then parked on wooden 'pallets' after being hosed down with fresh water. Was amazing to watch this!
