The 14 K5085 - K5098 production Hendons were built at Heaton Chapel and taken to Barton by road for assembly and testing. First flights were between 09.36 and 03.37. Most deliveries were direct to Marham by 38 Sqn crews. From Manchester Airport archive 50 years ago.
