Full scale replica built in 2008 to commemorate the centenary of the first powered flight in the UK by Samuel Cody on 16th October 1908. Now on permanent display at FAST which fittingly is in close proximity to where the original flight took place. Superbly crafted and surprisingly large with a 53 foot wingspan. [Registered as a Cody Type V replica - ABPic]
