On 10/5/12 this helicopter was forced to ditch in the North Sea 24 miles offshore from Aberdden whilst en route to the Ensco 102 platform due to cracking and the disengagement of both mechancial oil pumps. All 14 on board took to liferafts and were later rescued. G-REDW was subsequently salvaged and returned onshore for AAIB investigation
