On finals for runway 08R in lovely autumn evening weather. Built in 2003. Air France Boeing 747-400s are a rare sight in the UK and this one was visiting London-Gatwick for maintenance checks. Air France maintenance department has been on strike and the work has been outsourced as Gatwick has a maintenance centre that covers Boeings.
