Pilot; Lt M Sharp suffered slight injuries. It remained in the water for two days before being salvaged by a floating crane on 03-11-72 and transported to AIU Lee via Foxbury Point, Fleetlands. To UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), establishment, Culham, Oxfordshire. Forward part of fuselage 07-02 used for lightning strike experiments. To Benson, 10-06-07 where the Nose section was obtained by Cholsey based Dave Webb. Moved to Kemble 25-06-07. Cockpit restored. Sighted at Benson, 16-11-08 and at Chiltern Park 30-07-11. Displayed at Al Ain air show. By May 2018 now on permanent loan to the Hovercraft Museum.
