This aircraft was the original chosen by Mrs Morrow Tait for her proposed around the World flight but was temporarily wfu by her after some minor damage i/c nose wheel collapse, and chose Proctor G-AJMU instead. G-AKUV was Damaged beyond economic repair landing Thruxton 26 3 53.
