The prototype Avian after modification to Type 581A for Hinkler. After further upgrade in 1928 to Type 581E, he flew it solo from Croydon to Darwin in 15 1/2 days. Now exhibited in the Brisbane Museum. Obtained from Avro over 50 years ago.
