In July 2010 the engine activated when the owner was carrying out maintenance work resulting in his fatal injury. The aicraft was subsequently towed to Palafolls ( from its base on a nearby trading estate ) and is now awaiting disposal. Major damage to engine casing and prop - see separate photo.
