DH photo. The prototype Albatross which f/f as E.2. K8618 ntu. Operated by Imperial Airways from 08.39 as mail plane "Faraday". Impressed as AX903 for 271 Sqn and w/o at Reykjavik 11.08.41. A most beautiful and high performance design but the last two of seven were scrapped in 09.43.
