Delivered to USN as PV-1 Bu33315 then flown by the RCAF as 2195 until lost in a crash in the NWT. Now subject of a painstaking restoration. ex Bu.33315 and RCAF 2195; Registered in January 1952, Crashed soon after, 65 miles NW of Yellowknife, NWT on 14 August 1953. Recovered from the crash site by a CAF Chinook on 18 June 1988. Seen here undergoing rebuild in the Restoration Workshop of the Ventura Memorial Flight Association. Removed under duress by the Association under orders from the Alberta Aviation Museum (who wanted the space) and moved to Red Deer Regional Airport in January 2018. Now parked beside Buffalo Airways hangar awaiting set up of new restoration area.
