Bell's Air Test Vehicle (ATV) was an experimental tiltjet VTOL aircraft built in 1953. To keep costs as low as possible the wing came from a Cessna 170 (minus the outer sections), the fuselage from a Schweizer glider and the skids from a Bell 47. The project was terminated in 1955.
