The gondola of this prototype airship is preserved at Aeroventure. Thrusters are also on-site. This was the prototype and only AD500 produced by Aerospace Developments before the company morphed into Airship Industries. Following the change, the essentially identical ships were designated Airship Industries Skyship 500 (SKS500), the first of which was c/n 1214-02, known in the company as '500-02' and registered G-BIHN. 500-01/G-BECE was cancelled on 8 March 1979.
