From the late Charles H Phillips collection by kind permission of his grand-daughter Lyn. Charles served in the RFC & RAF in Egypt and Palestine during 1917/18 with 113 Squadron. This was most likely taken RAF Aboukir where the type was used for Observer/gunnery training. This aircraft has obviously come to grief.
