Photographed in the static display during IAT 93 this JP was delivered to the RAF on the 22nd June 1972. Shown here in the markings of 6 FTS based at RAF Finningley, the unit was responsible for the training of RAF navigators and used the Jet Provost during the low level flying phase. The designation T5B is an unnofficial one, it's basically a T5A converted for navigator training. The squadron was one of the last two squadrons to retire the Jet Provost later in 1993. She was sold to the USA as N556A and based at Las Vegas North Airport.
