Photographed in the static display at Air Fete 92. Unusually this Sea Harrier is fitted with the detachable in-flight refuelling probe. She was delivered to the Fleet Air Arm on the 7th December 1981 and served during the Falklands War of 1982. She was credited with one confirmed kill over the Falklands when on the 21st May Lt. Cdr. Nigel 'Sharkey' Ward DSC, AFC, RN, Officer Commanding 801 Naval Air Squadron, flying from HMS Invincible, destroyed an Argentinian Air Force Mirage V (Dagger) with an AIM-9L Sidewinder missile. She was converted to an F/A2 in 1996 but was retired from service in 2004 and was transported to the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum at Flixton, arriving there on the 22nd July of that year. The Sea Harriers were all retired from service in March 2006.
