One of 40 U9 drone conversions carried out at Stockport and Ringway. Ex AS.5, first flown as a drone at Ringway on 16.04.56. Returned in 1959 for overhaul and lost with 728B Sqn at Hal Far on 25.08.60. It wears the red/yellow drone scheme during a (piloted) test flight at Ringway.
