Delivered to the USAAF as 43-15211 before going to the Norwegian Air Force as 315211. In July 1956 moved to the Danish Air Force as 68-683 and later K-683. Then became N3239W followed by N5211A before taking up N1944A. Wears the markings of th 92nd Troop Carrier Squadron / 439th Troop Carrier Group / 9th USAAF and flew during the invasion of Normandy from Upottery airfield in Devon. Performed her final public display in the UK at Cotswold Air Show the following year before going to the USA to join Kermit Weeks' Fantasy of Flight Museum where, despite what was said at Kemble on the day, she will remain as a 'flyer'.
