Very rare visitor to the UK arriving at Exeter for maintenance. This Dash 8 is registered in Chad and operated by CHC Helicopter Corporation. CHC are one of the world's largest commercial helicopter operators but also use a small fleet of fixed-wing aircraft to support their operations around the world. This particular Dash 8 was originally delivered to Schreiner Airways on the 26th October 1990 as PH-SDI. From late 1990 she was leased out to Sabena until becoming 5N-EVD with AeroContractors on the 8th April 1997. CHC acquired her on the 12th April 2007 and she was initially placed on the Canadian register as C-GOFW. By 2020, CHC no longer operates fixed-wing aircraft.
