The first Sparrowhawk completed in August 1935 for the following month's Kings Cup Air Race. Owned postwar by C.G.M. Alington, a Fairey test pilot, and often based at Ringway until sale to Fred Dunkerley in 12.50 for transformation into the Sparrowjet. In 2017, The aircraft is with Aero Antiques and is under rebuild at this time....as a Sparrowhawk.
