The first (of two) Type 547 Cabin Triplanes, G-EAQX was built at Hamble and first flown in February 1920. Accommodating four passengers in twin facing double seats, the aircraft was sold to QUANTAS in 11.20 but found little use due to its precarious u/c and it was withdrawn at Mascot in mid 1922. Photo obtained from Avro in the early 1950s.
