Photographed in the static display during Air Tournament International 1992. This F-4 first flew on the 1st November 1966, she spent her entire career engaged in a variety of flight test work, including the initial carrier suitability trials aboard the USS Coral Sea. She later became a laboratory aircraft being fitted with a long nose probe. She was used for high-speed chase and calibration duties before being retired in 1994. Interestingly, after she was retired, her engines were put to good use in the Thrust II Supersonic Car (SSC). She is now displayed at the Boscombe Down Museum.
