Photographed in the static display during Air Tournament International 92 at Boscombe. This colourful F-4 flew for the first time on the 1st November 1966. She spent her entire career as a trials aircraft, conducting the initial carrier suitability trials aboard the USS Coral Sea, after these were completed from 1974 onwards she became a laboratory aircraft being fitted with a long nose probe. She was used for high speed chase and calibration duties before her retirement in 1994. She is now preserved at the Boscombe Down Museum.
