Photographed in the static display at Air Tournament International 92, this F-16B is from Esk 730 based at Skrydstrup. She was built under licence by SABCA in Belgium and was delivered to the Danish Air Force on the 10th June 1982. She was allocated to Esk 727 in July of that year. On the 18th April 1989 she was involved in an accident when a runaway mobile crane crashed into the hangar at Skrydstrup pushing the aircraft into the hangar wall. The aircraft was so badly damaged that she did not fly again until the 3rd August 1990. She was allocated to Esk 730 in August 1991 and they operated her until June 1999. She has since been updated to the Mid-Life Update F-16BM standard and was last known active with Esk 727.
