Clearer view of the new back end fitted to this Lynx, albeit in a different colour. Seen on board HMS Beaver (F93) during Exercise Vendetta. The story is that the tail is actually the correct colour. The aircraft was sprayed whilst crossing the Pacific. The only grey available was Sea Harrier early grey. It was only when a new tail was delivered to us at Sydney airport in 1986, because the original tail had cracked fold hinge lugs, that we noticed the colour difference.
