Prototype BAC-111 just a couple of days before maiden flight (20 August 1963). Aircraft crashed in Cricklade, Wiltshire whilst on a test flight 22 Oct 1963 - all seven crew killed. Cause was deep flat stall with T tail. All further testing was done with a drogue chute installed for emergency use.
