An interesting Varsity, operated at this time by Short Brothers' Flying Division from West Malling on low-light television and thermal imaging trials. It was later operated by RAE Farnborough, then retired to Aberporth in late 1981 for use by fire crews. It expired there on the dump. This was the best view I could get of it, unfortunately.
