Shot down by a US Army Patriot missile, sadly with two fatalities, at 0248 on 23rd March 2003. The Tornado was returning from a mission over Iraq to Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait when it was wrongly identified as an Iraqi anti-radiation missile.
