Fuselage of Constellation AP-AFQ was a surprise find in the backyard of the Midway House Hotel at Karachi International Airport. For the training of PIA cabin crew, the fuselage section of PIA's first aircraft i.e. Lockheed L-1049C Super Constellation (AP-AFQ) was placed in the premises of the hotel. The aircraft was used for cabin crew training for many years before PIA established PIA Training Centre (PTC) at a new location in Karachi.
