Still current in 2017. Comments from a former owner - I used to own this A/C. I bought it in Brantford Ontario so this pic would have been just after it was restored in Bob Nellis hangar and just before I bought it in 1996 I think. A couple of years later we moved from GTA to Vancouver and I flew it out west. I sold it in 2005 or so to an AME in Courtney BC and last I saw her that where she was. YLS was a really fun aircraft to fly. She would cruise at about 105 MPH and stall somewhere around 50 MPH. Side slip or forward slip like crazy for landing. You had to pay attention to rudder input on the ground though. She wasn't bad but she could bite!
