The incredible bulk of the C-5 is even more apparent when photographed close-up. Visiting IAT91 from her home base, Dover AFB, Delaware, this is a C-5B variant. Fifty of this version were delivered to the USAF from 1986-89 and featured upgraded wings, improved TF-39-GE-1C turbofan engines and updated avionics.
