Named 'NightRider' this KC-130F was photographed during IAT91. Based at NAS Rota, VR-22 operated the Hercules from the Spanish base from 1982 until the unit was deactivated in 1992. This particular Herc was later operated by US Marine Corps unit VMGRT-253 based at MCAS Cherry Point, whilst with them she visited Fairford again for IAT95. She is currently stored at AMARG, arriving there on the 29th January 2002, her inventory code is listed as AN2G0027.(2009)
