Sabena were the first airline to introduce transatlantic schedules from Ringway, starting on 28 October 1953. Here OO-CTI arrives on Runway 06 direct from Idlewild (later JFK) after a ten-hour non-stop flight. After unloading MAN passengers it will continue to Melsbroek. The westbound flights called at Gander for fuel. A/c served SN 04.53-04.63
