Shortly after its first test flight following a long term major service. Ex WB731 Since demob in the middle 50's this aircraft was on the fleet of the Air Service Training organisation and subsequently the College of Air Training based at Hamble. c/s silver. It was purchased from the College early 69 by the Wessex Flying Group (Southampton University Staff) to replace their DH82A G-ALNA, again based at Hamble. UP was refurbished and painted in the blue and white c/s . When Hamble closed, it was based at the late John Fairey's Bossington strip near Stockbridge. It was operated by the Group until sold to another group based at Lands End in 93.
