Halifax VIIIs G-AJZY and 'KEC of Lancs Aircraft Corp, each awaiting 8 tons of newspapers. They will then use max revs against brakes before roaring down Runway 24's 4200 feet, just clearing the far hedge and climbing slowly away towards Nutts Corner. 24 is now 10,000 ft long, thank goodness!
