The End - This distinguished old lady looks a sorry state in this photograph taken shortly before she was scrapped. The date's approximate but was possibly taken early in 1992. Originally delivered to Arkia Airlines as 4X-AHT in July 1965 she was one of three Herald 209 aircraft mobilised by Israel during the Six Day War of 1967. She returned to the UK (possibly in 1977) and was registered to Field Aviation Limited. In October 1981 she was sold to Express Air Services who later became Channel Express.
