Photographed during Helifest '91 at Duxford, this Agusta built Jet Ranger was well known to TV viewers in the UK as one of the helicopters used in the series 'Treasure Hunt'. She is shown here fitted with the 'Tyler' nose video mount used for aerial filming, a task that Castle Air have many years of experience in carrying out for film and television projects. She was built in 1980 but was unfortunately destroyed on the 29th June 1995 during a positioning flight from Liskeard to Deauville. The helicopter suffered what was later believed to be a major mechanical failure within the engine gearbox assembly. The helicopter ditched in the sea off the Channel Island of Alderney and sank, fortunately the two crew members escaped without injury.
